Course objective: bioassessment procedures are defined in detail through several pieces of overarching legislations. For all the basic, and practical courses within this program to be applicable – understanding and complying with EU legislation and procedures is paramount. Through this course we will exercise and train students to apply their acquired knowledge to and through the available legal frames.
Course outcome: students will be aware of all EU legislation needed in bioassessment procedures as well as with the subsequent intercalibration procedures and further steps in harmonization with the already implemented processes in the EU.
